Do not send the email just 1 or 2 hours after the college interview has ended. If you send it too quickly, it simply tells your interviewer that you lack social and professional etiquette. However, do not send the email very late as well. If you do, the interviewer may think that you didn’t value the meeting or that you decided to send the email very late after giving it much thought. The best time to send the email is within one day of the interview, but not immediately after the interview ends. When you do this, you show your interviewer that you clearly understood the topics you both discussed; plus, this gives the interviewer some breathing space.
